They were among the best-known stars of the night. But Mary J. Blige and Olympic champion Gabby Douglas were not the only stars on hand at an event in New York thrown by Glamour magazine.
The annual Glamour Women of the Year awards also featured appearances by Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, as well as Chelsea Handler, Selena Gomez and "American Idol" winner Phillip Phillips.
Perhaps the biggest stars at the event were people you haven't heard of. Among those who were honored was a Pakistani filmmaker who did a documentary about women who are disfigured by acid attacks and women who had been among those involved in relief work after Superstorm Sandy.
