INDIANAPOLIS -

The owners of the Indianapolis Colts and the Indiana Pacers are donating $20,000 to the Red Cross to help victims of a massive blast that leveled two homes in the city over the weekend.

Colts owner Jim Irsay and Pacers owner Herb Simon said Monday they were donating the money because of their "love" for the community." The two also encouraged fans to make donations to the Red Cross.

Two people were killed and dozens displaced following an explosion and fire Saturday night on Indianapolis's south side. More than 80 homes were damaged, including about 30 that remained uninhabitable on Monday.
