FORT WAYNE -

Authorities have released the name of a Fort Wayne volunteer firefighter who died after he lost control of a tanker truck and it overturned.

The Allen County Coroner's Office on Monday identified him as 25-year-old Mark Haudenschild II.

Police Sgt. Mark Brooks says the Washington Township Fire Department truck was en route to a brush fire Sunday night when it crashed while turning at an intersection. He says it appears the water in the tanker shifted, sending the vehicle out of control

The truck hit three utility poles and stopped on its side about 100 yards from the intersection.
