Guns n' Roses ads changed

Posted: Updated:
LAS VEGAS -

The Las Vegas resort that's promoting Guns N' Roses' four-week run of shows there plans to change the artwork on the ads.

The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino used ads based on the original "Appetite For Destruction" cover, depicting a disheveled woman who appeared to have been sexually assaulted, sitting beneath the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign.

Rape crisis groups complained. The Hard Rock has issued a statement of apology and says it modified the ads on Friday.
