A car crashed into a northeast Indianapolis home Monday, injuring a resident.

The SUV crashed into a home in the 5500 block of North Drexel Avenue around 10 p.m. Monday. A 15-year-old girl sitting on a couch in the home suffered a possible broken leg and facial lacerations. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The 21-year-old driver of the SUV is being checked by medical personnel at the scene. The driver is being taken to the hospital for a blood draw, per procedure, but alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash during preliminary investigation.

There is no word if there are other injuries.
