Indiana Volleyball (11-15, 3-11) fell to Illinois (11-13, 5-9) in four sets (25-22, 25-17, 22-25, 25-18). Indiana got 16 kills from Jordan Haverly and 11 from Morgan Leach in the match. Haverly added 13 digs for her 12th double-double of the season.
Haverly had 16 kills and 13 digs, and added two of IU's eight blocks. Leach had 11 kills and two blocks. Samantha Thrower had nine kills and six blocks, whileAmelia Anderson had five blocks. Whitney Granado added 38 assists and Caitlin Hansen had 13 digs.
Illinois took the first set 25-22. Indiana got five kills from Haverly in the set, as the Cherry Valley, Ill., native hit .333 and had half of IU's kills in the stanza.
The second set went to the Illini 25-17, and IU got three kills from both Haverly and Thrower. IU hit just .033 in the set.
The Hoosiers came out of the locker room and controlled the third set from the start, leading wire-to-wire for a 25-22 victory. Haverly added five kills and six digs, and Hansen added six digs.
The fourth set was back and forth to start, but Illinois gapped the Hoosiers after a 10-10 tie to take the set 25-18. Leach had four kills in the stanza, while Hansen added four digs.
