Country Hall of Fame member Tom T. Hall was honored at the BMI Country Awards Tuesday night.
The 76-year-old singer-songwriter known by fans as "The Storyteller" says he was "very proud of the fact" that he could get back into his tuxedo, which has been out of commission for the last 12 years.
Hall had a string of No. 1 hits including "Harper Valley PTA." Toby Keith, The Avett Brothers, bluegrass stars Dailey & Vincent and Justin Townes Earle all performed songs by Hall at the tribute.
