Guns n' Roses draws criticism in Vegas

LAS VEGAS -

A county commissioner in Las Vegas says she regrets the board's decision to rename a street after Guns N' Roses after seeing a suggestive concert poster for the band.

The poster is based on the original "Appetite for Destruction" cover, only the woman's breast is covered and the underwear that was around her ankles is gone. Women's groups say it still implies violence against women.

The Las Vegas Sun quotes Commissioner Mary Beth Scow as saying she didn't know about the poster before county leaders voted to temporarily rename Paradise Road to Paradise City Road in honor of Guns N' Roses' run of shows in Las Vegas.

The band has not responded to requests for comment.
