The wife of a man who robbed a convenience store has also been arrested.
Ashleigh Gibson, wife of Kelly Joe Gibson Jr., was arrested Wednesday for her role in the October 15 robbery her husband later admitted committing. Kelly Gibson was arrested October 18 for the robbery at the Circle K store at SR 67 and Camby Road.
Police say Gibson forced a clerk into her car and made her drive to Mooresville, where he left her. He also told the woman his son had leukemia, but he later told police that was a lie and he only needed the money for drugs.
Ashleigh Gibson is being held at the Morgan County Jail, facing the same charges - including theft and armed robbery - as her husband.
