Rob Zombie is counting on his film fans not wanting everything spelled out for them.
Zombie says those who have seen his film "The Lords of Salem" have said they're not sure they like it but they need to see it again. Zombie says the current film system wants everything obvious so audiences aren't confused, and he feels it's OK to make viewers think.
Here's another way Zombie plans to confuse his audience: his next film will be a hockey movie. He says it will be the true story of the Philadelphia Flyers winning the Stanley Cup in the '70s.
"The Lords of Salem" played the Toronto Film Festival and will come out next year.
