"Sunday Night Football" is now the program charging the most for a 30-second commercial.

Advertising Age says the cost of a 30-second commercial during the football game is $545,000, - $33,000 higher than last season. "American Idol" had charged the most the past several years, but its rates are falling as the ratings go down.

The cost of a 30-second spot on the performance episode of Idol has dropped from about $503,000 last season to about $341,000. The results show is even cheaper, dropping from $468,000 to $296,000.
