Police have identified the body as Gage Raub, a 20-year-old white male. The Marion County coroner says he died from multiple blunt force injuries, although the manner of death is still under investigation.

Detectives are working to locate next of kin. If you knew Raub or have information about his relatives, contact the Marion County coroner's office.

The last train passed through the area at 11:25 p.m. Monday.  The body was found around 4:00 a.m. Tuesday. Detectives will examine the engine's on-board video recordings for more evidence of what happened to the dead man.
