With the Indiana Fever one win away from their first WNBA championship, Tamika Catchings is making sure her teammates don't get ahead of themselves.
Indiana defeated Minnesota 76-59 in Game 3 of the WNBA Finals on Friday to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-5 series. The Fever can clinch Sunday at home.
Catchings, a seven-time All-Star and 2011 MVP, told her team not to celebrate after their win because Indiana took a 2-1 lead over Phoenix in the 2009 finals and lost the next two games.
The Fever don't expect an easy game Sunday against the defending champions. A win by the Lynx would send the series back to Minneapolis for a decisive Game 5 on Wednesday night.
