INDIANAPOLIS -
A man is fighting for his life after a shooting on the northeast side. Someone called 911 and reported the shooting, just after 5 pm Saturday evening. The victim was identified Sunday as 55-year-old Danny Martin of Elwood, IN.
It happened in the 3900 block of North Grand Avenue, near 38th Street and Emerson Avenue.
Police say, when they arrived they found the man shot and lying in the street.
EMS crews rushed him to Wishard Hospital in critical condition.
Metro Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS.
