As many as 1 in 3 American adults will have diabetes by 2050. That's why the WNBA is teaching kids about healthy lifestyles.

The Fever hosted the Dribble to stop Diabetes Campaign at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Saturday.

Hundreds of kids got moving on the basketball court and learned about eating better foods.

Ambassadors for the campaign included Carlos Boozer of the Chicago Bulls and our own Tamika Catchings. Tamika took time out of her busy schedule before a big Finals game Sunday, to help kids get a jump on a healthier lifestyle.

"I wasn't eating healthy when I was younger, but if I knew then what I know now, I probably would have done a better job," says Catchings. "But being able to get in early to have an impact on these kids, especially early on, is just really important."
