I-65 reopens following semi crash near downtown

Posted: Updated:
INDIANAPOLIS -

A semi crash near downtown closed the northbound lanes of Interstate 65 Friday afternoon.

A northbound semi struck the wall near the 112 mile marker on the east side of downtown. The driver of the semi reportedly has minor injuries, but the nature of those injuries is not known at this time.

There is a small fuel spill at the scene, which is requiring a Hazmat team for clean-up.

The northbound lanes of the interstate are closed at the 112 mile marker.

The highway reopened shortly before 4 p.m. Friday.
