Thousands of cyclists expected for S. Indiana ride

Thousands of bicyclists are expected on southern Indiana roads this weekend for the 45th annual Hilly Hundred.

Organizers plan for more than 5,000 cyclists from around the country to take part in the rides Saturday and Sunday in Monroe, Morgan, Owen and Greene counties around the Bloomington area.

The Herald-Times reports Saturday's route will take riders on 5,000 feet of climbing over the course of 57 miles, with 3,500 feet of climbing for Sunday's 43-mile route

The rides begin and end each day at Edgewood High School in Ellettsville.
