FISHERS -

Police are searching for a home invasion suspect who assaulted a female homeowner last May.

An arrest warrant was issued earlier in the week for Victor Manual Torres-Martinez. Police say Torres-Martinez entered a home in the 13100 block of Cresswell Place on May 10th and woke the woman up in her bedroom, demanding money. She was shoved into her master bathroom, where she activated her alarm system.

When police arrived, the woman noticed jewelry and a laptop missing from the home.

Police identified Torres-Martinez, 23, of Indianapolis, as the suspect and received the warrant for his arrest. He is described as 5'8" tall and weighing 180 pounds.

Torres-Martinez is wanted on felony charges of burglary, robbery, criminal confinement and theft. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is encouraged to call 911.
