BELLEFONTE, Pa. -

Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky wants a judge to overturn his child sexual abuse convictions and give him a new trial, claiming his lawyers didn't have enough time to prepare.

Sandusky's post-trial motions were filed Thursday at the courthouse in Bellefonte where he was sentenced two weeks ago to 30 to 60 years in prison after being convicted of abusing 10 boys. He says there wasn't evidence to support convictions.

Sandusky is awaiting transfer to a state prison to serve time for the 45-count conviction.

Eight young men testified against him, describing a range of abuse they said occurred when they were boys.

Sandusky has consistently maintained his innocence.
