Two injured in Indianapolis north side crash

Posted: Updated:

Two people were taken to the hospital after sustaining injuries in a crash on the Indianapolis north side Wednesday afternoon.

It happened at 30th St. and College Ave. Indianapolis Metro Police say it took about half an hour to get one of the passengers out of one of the vehicles.

A 1998 Black GMC Jimmy struck a building on the corner of the intersection. A 1990 white Dodge Ram was also involved in the crash. It's believed the Ram, which was southbound on College, struck the Jimmy, which was westbound on 30th, forcing it into the building. There was minimal damage to the building.

A 17-year-old girl was extricated from the GMC vehicle and taken to Methodist Hospital in good condition. A passenger in the Dodge Ram was taken to Wishard in good condition.

Police did not provide information as to which vehicle may have caused the crash.
