The victim of the murder Sunday night has positively been identified as 29-year-old Hoang Bui of Avon, Indiana.
Police are trying to find out who shot Bui after he died at IU West Hospital in Avon.
Bui was taken to the hospital emergency room about 12:30pm, but died a short time later.
Police believe he was shot near the area of the 900 block of North Girls School Road.
Police say they don't have more information, so they're asking anyone who might know what happened to contact Homicide at 317-327-3475 or call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS (8477).
