An Indianapolis student is safe after being dropped off at the wrong bus stop after school Monday.
A spokesperson for the National Heritage Academies says the student from the Andrew J. Brown Charter Academy was dropped off at the wrong stop Monday evening.
"The safety of all of our students is a priority for us at Andrew J. Brown which is why we are conducting a thorough investigation," spokesperson Mark Meyer wrote in a release.
The student is reported to be safe.
The bus driver was employed by Bus Mart, a private company that will handle any disciplinary action against the driver. National Heritage Academies, which runs the charter academy, has requested a different driver for the route.
