The Indianapolis Colts are promoting offensive tackle Tony Hills from the practice squad to the active roster.
To make room for Hills, the Colts waived receiver Kris Adams on Saturday.
At 6-foot-5 and 304 pounds, Hills gives the Colts depth in an area they have been hit hard by injuries. Guards Joe Reitz and Seth Olsen have been ruled out of Sunday's game against Green Bay because of knee injuries. Center Samson Satele is questionable with a knee injury. Earlier this week, the Colts also promoted center A.Q. Shipley from the practice squad.
Adams played in each of the Colts' first three games this season and caught two passes for 26 yards.
Linebacker Pat Angerer (foot) and corner backs Vontae Davis (ankle) and Justin King (groin) also have been ruled out.
