Andretti Autosport to test teen Jarett Andretti

INDIANAPOLIS -

Andretti Autosport said Friday it will test third-generation driver Jarett Andretti in a USF2000 car at Putnam Park Raceway.

The test is scheduled for next Wednesday at the track located in Greencastle, Ind.

Andretti is a 19-year-old is a student at NC State and began racing two years ago in go-karts. He is the son of John Andretti, and the grandson of Aldo Andretti.

Aldo Andretti is the twin brother of Mario Andretti.

Andretti will be joined at the test by current Star Mazda driver Zach Veach, who will be in an Indy Lights car. It will be Veach's second test in that car.

Shelby Blackstock will test a Star Mazda car the same day for Andretti Autosport. It will be his first time in that car.
