Cold front rolling into central Indiana Friday

INDIANAPOLIS -

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop across Central Indiana Friday as temperatures stay steady in the mid-50s.

Operation Football looks soggy with temperatures dropping into the 40s by the drive home. Up to a half inch of rain is possible by the time the rain ends early Saturday morning.

Saturday morning could bring some sprinkles, but the rest of the day looks dry and cool as temperatures only top out in the mid 50s. Sunday morning, patchy frost is possible, and Colts tailgaters will be cool as highs only warm to the low 50s.

Monday morning, patchy frost will be likely, and some spots may drop to freezing.

We'll warm up to the 60s starting next Tuesday, with our next chance of rain moving in Wednesday.
