Colts swap defensive linemen on practice squad

INDIANAPOLIS -

The Colts have signed defensive lineman Clifton Geathers to the practice squad.

To make room, Indianapolis released nose tackle Nicolas Jean-Baptiste from the practice squad.

Geathers has appeared in seven career games, including five last season with the Dallas Cowboys after originally being drafted by Cleveland in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL draft.

Jean-Baptiste joined the Colts practice squad Sept. 18.
