INDIANAPOLIS -
An overturned semi is blocking a highway on the east side of downtown.
The crash happened around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday in the southbound lanes of I-65/I-70, south of the north split.
Authorities identified the driver as 24-year-old Regina Devoe. Her passenger, 47-year-old Allison Lazoo was taken to IU Health-Methodist Hospital for evaluation. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The overturned semi is blocking the right lanes of the interstate near the 112 mile marker.
There is no estimate for when the crash may be cleared. Traffic is not backing up in the area at this hour.
