MUNCIE -

Indiana residents who can't wait for the debate Wednesday between President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney can get a preview of sorts at Ball State University.

Obama adviser Robert Gibbs and Liz Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney who served as a deputy assistant secretary of state during the George W. Bush administration, will take part in a debate at Ball State on Monday.

Mitch Isaacs, Ball State's associate director of student life, says the debate is part of Ball State's excellence in leadership speaker series and provides students a chance to interact with two presidential advisers.

The debate will be held 7:30 p.m. Monday at Emens Auditorium in Muncie.
