Tornado-hit Henryville school gets sports supplies

HENRYVILLE -

Henryville High School is getting $100,000 worth of athletic equipment as it rebuilds following March's devastating tornadoes in southern Indiana.

Retailer Hibbett Sports has donated the equipment to the southern Indiana school. School athletic director Bill Niece called the donation "a blessing."

The high school was destroyed earlier this year when a pair of tornadoes ripped through Henryville. The school was rebuilt in time for the start of the school year. That includes the construction of a new gym that Niece says will be stocked with equipment for years to come.
