INDIANAPOLIS -

IFD made quick work of a small office fire at Lilly Hall at Butler University. It took place at about 5:30pm.

When fire fighters arrived, they found heavy smoke in the hallway.

IFD crews found the fire in a small office and quickly put out the fire and removed the smoke from the building.

There were no students or staff in the building at the time of the fire, so no evacuation was necessary.

Investigators say the fire alarm was activated and saved the building from severe damage.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

No injuries were reported.
