INDIANAPOLIS -

Metro Police believe they arrested two men who slashed tires on six cars in the Pan Am Plaza parking garage early Thursday morning.

Witnesses called police shortly after midnight to report seeing a man getting in and out of a car to slash tires in the garage.  They said the car left the garage.  Police found a single tire slashed on six different cars parked on the second level of the underground garage.

Officers later stopped two suspects for speeding near 10th and MLK in a car fitting the description of the one witnesses had seen in the Pan Am garage.

Police arrested the two men for the alleged acts of vandalism.  At least one appeared to be impaired by alcohol when they were stopped.

IMPD investigating at Pan Am Plaza told Eyewitness News the parked cars may have belonged to overnight workers in the downtown area, and nearby hotel guests who used valet parking services.
