INDIANAPOLIS -

An anonymous tip helped police identify a suspect in four pharmacy robberies.

In a release, a Metro police spokesman says detectives arrested 19-year-old Nicholas D'Alessio, Indianapolis, and charged him in connection with four robberies and one count of intimidation.

At the time of the suspect's arrest, he was being held in the Marion County Jail on an unrelated traffic arrest.

Investigators interviewed the suspect, and police say he provided a statement implicating himself in the robberies.

The robberies happened at 505 E. Thompson Rd., 7915 S. Emerson Ave., and 4401 E. 10th St., all locations of CVS Pharmacies.  Police say the Thompson Rd. location was robbed twice.
