A man is dead after being struck by a car at the 3100 block of Georgetown Road on the city's west side.
According to IMPD, the accident took place about midnight. Witnesses say the man stepped in front of a car traveling Southbound on Georgetown road and was struck and killed.
The man's name has not been released.
According to police, alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
Anyone with any information about this accident is asked to call the IMPD non emergency line at 317-327-3811.
