LOS ANGELES -

That guy arrested with a pair of scissors at Miley Cyrus' home is now facing charges. A city attorney's spokesman in Los Angeles says Jason Luis Rivera is charged with two counts of trespassing -- and one count of resisting arrest.

Rivera was busted early Saturday after police say he tried to force his way into Cyrus' home. He claimed to be a friend of the singer. Police say besides carrying the scissors, Rivera repeatedly threw himself against an outside wall, as though he was trying to bust in that way.

Rivera has pleaded not guilty -- and is ordered held on $100,000 bail. He's due back in court on Monday.
