IMPD seeks suspect in Irvington bank robbery

INDIANAPOLIS -

Indianapolis Metro Police are looking for a man who robbed a Huntington Bank branch in Irvington Wednesday.

According to police, the man walked into the branch at 5720 E. Washington Street shortly before 5:00 pm. He passed a note to the teller implying he had a weapon, although no weapon was displayed.

The teller complied with the suspect's demands and the suspect fled on foot. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with some facial hair, 5'5" to 5'7," approximately 140 to 160 lbs., dark hair, wearing a blue and white Colts hat, green t-shirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes.
