Indianapolis Metro Police are looking for a man who robbed a Huntington Bank branch in Irvington Wednesday.
According to police, the man walked into the branch at 5720 E. Washington Street shortly before 5:00 pm. He passed a note to the teller implying he had a weapon, although no weapon was displayed.
The teller complied with the suspect's demands and the suspect fled on foot. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with some facial hair, 5'5" to 5'7," approximately 140 to 160 lbs., dark hair, wearing a blue and white Colts hat, green t-shirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes.
The FBI is conducting an active investigation into this incident. Anyone with information about the suspect's identity or incident is urged to contact the FBI Safe Streets Task Force at 317.595.4000 or CRIME STOPPERS at 317.262.TIPS (8477). Callers may also text "INDYCS" plus tip information to 274627 (CRIMES).
