Police seek suspect in Indianapolis pharmacy robbery

INDIANAPOLIS -

Police are looking for a man suspected in a robbery at an east side pharmacy last month.

Investigators say a man, likely in his 20s, robbed the CVS Pharmacy at 4401 E. 10th Street on August 26. The suspect gave the pharmacist a note that indicated he had a gun and demanded narcotics. No gun was seen and no injuries were reported.

The suspect got away with Oxycontin and Oxycodone in the robbery.

The man is described as standing between 5'8" and six feet tall and was wearing a black wig, sunglasses, blue or purple hospital scrubs and white tennis shoes. He also had a black bag over his shoulder.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect or incident is asked to call IMPD Robbery Detectives at 317.327.1145. Callers may also leave anonymous tips with Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS, or text "INDYCS" plus tip information to 274627.
