Revamped Colts ready to start whole new era

Posted: Updated:

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indianapolis' next football era begins Sunday at Chicago and players are eager to get started.

Coach Chuck Pagano says the excitement level and focus were dramatically different at Monday's practice, and why not?

From Andrew Luck to Vontae Davis, everything seems to be new after a dismal 2-14 record gave Indy the No. 1 draft pick.

The roster's chock full of fresh names and unfamiliar faces. But even key returnees are playing in new spots.

Pro Bowl defensive ends Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis are listed as linebackers after spending most of the last decade forming one of the league's best pass-rushing tandems. And Pro Bowl receiver Reggie Wayne, who has spent his career on the left side, is moving around.

It's a whole new look in Indianapolis.
