The Indianapolis Colts have claimed safety Sergio Brown, offensive tackle Mike Person and nose tackle Martin Tevaseu off waivers.
To make room on the 53-man roster, Indy waived safety Jermale Hines, cornerback D.J. Johnson and offensive tackle Ty Nsekhe.
Brown started the 2010 season on New England's practice squad. He was promoted to the active roster in October that season and has 26 tackles in 26 career games.
Person was San Francisco's seventh-round pick in 2011 but was inactive all season.
Tevaseu spent 2010 on the Jets' practice squad and was on their practice squad and active roster last season.
Indy also signed defensive tackle Chigbo Anunoby, linebacker Jerry Brown, offensive guard Hayworth Hicks, tight end Kyle Miller, receiver Kashif Moore and safety Latarrius Thomas to the practice squad.
