Indiana offering deer hunters new bundled license

INDIANAPOLIS -

Indiana hunters who like to hunt deer during the state's numerous deer-hunting seasons can now purchase a single bundled license allowing them to take part in all of those seasons.

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources says its new bundled deer license allows hunters to participate in youth, archery, firearms, muzzleloader and special antlerless seasons and to take one antlered deer and two antlerless deer.

All legal equipment that can be used in those seasons can be used with the deer bundle, including crossbows.

DNR wildlife information specialist Michelle Cain says the deer bundle license "saves hunters money and makes hunting easier for those who enjoy many equipment types for deer hunting."

The bundled licenses cost $65 for state residents, $295 for non-residents and $65 for non-resident youth.
