Kodak to sell imaging units

Posted: Updated:
ROCHESTER -

Kodak is hoping to emerge from bankruptcy protection sometime next year. Toward that end it wants to sell its document imaging and personalized imaging businesses so it can focus on printing and business services.

In addition to that move, the company is looking to cut costs and auction off its patent portfolio.

Kodak filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in January.

Earlier this year it said it would no longer make digital cameras, pocket video cameras and digital picture frames as it tries to reshape its business.
