Gen Con and Moto GP fans take center stage

INDIANAPOLIS -

Two big events in town at the same time, drawing two very different crowds. Gen Con is for gamers, and Moto GP is for bikers.

As a result, Indianapolis has become a destination for couples with very unique interests. Two married couples are in Indianapolis for basically the same reason: vacation.

Brian and Nicole Schmelzle are from Florida. "Well we try and hit the MotoGP races each year," they say.

Michelle and Ken LaBounty are from Vermont. "It is actually our honeymoon," they say.

You can tell right away why they are in town, just by looking at what each couple wearing. Board games take center stage at the Convention Center and motorcycle racing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Nuances that seem foreign to the other is certainly the clothes. Both have special uniforms or costumes that are unique to their world, all of which would most likely be worn anywhere else but in Indianapolis.
