Police seek identity of suspects who used robbery victim's credit cards

INDIANAPOLIS -

Metro police are asking the public for information that would identify the two suspects who used a credit card stolen in a home invasion robbery.

On August 4, 2012, the victim who lives in the 3900 block of Rue Renoir reported hearing a knock at his patio door and observed a male who was holding a handgun pointed at him.  The suspect ordered the victim to open the door. The victim complied. 

Once inside, the suspect opened the front door to allow a second suspect to enter. The victim was ordered to lie face down on the floor, where he was restrained. The suspects then ransacked his residence, taking several items.

One suspect is described as male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 170 pounds wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans. He was armed with a black handgun.

The other suspect is a male, 5 feet 11 inches tall and thin build, wearing a dark ski mask, dark clothing. He was armed with a silver handgun.

Police ask anyone with information to call Crimestoppers at 317.262.TIPS (-8477). Callers may also text "INDYCS" plus tip information to 274627 (CRIMES). Tipsters can remain anonymous.
