INDIANAPOLIS -
A man has been seriously hurt in a crash involving an ambulance.
Police say the 29-year-old man suffered a laceration to his head when his moped collided with an Indianapolis EMS ambulance around 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Police do not know if the ambulance was responding to a call at the time of the crash, but say there was no patient in the ambulance at the time.
The crash happened on East Washington Street near Rural Street.
