STORY, INDIANA -

A brush fire has been brought under control after scorching 50 acres of southern Indiana's Brown County.

Brown County emergency dispatcher Jessica Knight says 10 different fire departments were among the agencies responding to the blaze Wednesday. She says no buildings were damaged.

The fire began with a single bale of hay in a field southeast of the town of Story near the Jackson County line. That's about 50 miles south of Indianapolis.

No one was injured.
