Coroner: Manner of Warsaw woman's death undetermined

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY -

A northern Indiana coroner says a man found dead in his home committed suicide by shooting himself once in the neck, while the manner of death in the death of his wife remained under investigation.

The Kosciusko County coroner's office said Wednesday that autopsy results were inconclusive as to whether the gunshot to the head of 46-year-old Jane Ellen Kinzer was self-inflicted. Her husband was 47-year-old James Willis Kinzer. They were found dead Tuesday morning at their home south of Warsaw.

Deputies say a lengthy suicide note was found at the home. Their bodies were found after a neighbor called the sheriff's department asking them to check on the welfare of the couple.
