One dead, two injured in Indianapolis east side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS -

One person is dead and two others are injured after a shooting in the area of 38th Street and Emerson Ave.

It happened at the Courtyards at Roselawn Park, an apartment complex. Police say one man was found dead at the scene from a gunshot wound to the head.

The other two shooting victims were taken to Methodist Hospital. One is listed in stable condition. The condition of the other victim is not known.

Indianapolis Metro Police are still searching for the shooter, whom they have not identified. They have not identified any of the victims.

Homicide detectives responded to the scene, along with the Marion County Crime Lab.
