MONTGOMERY -

A southern Indiana man has died after a 16-foot fall from a grain bin.

The Daviess County Sheriff's Office tells WTHI-TV that 56-year-old Harry Stoll of Montgomery died Monday morning from massive head trauma. Daviess County Coroner Dr. Steven Cullen pronounced Stoll dead at the scene.

Investigators say Stoll had just finished loading a feed truck at Hillcrest Supply Inc. in Montgomery and stepped on a 9-inch-wide beam above the truck. The truck pulled away, and Stoll lost his balance and fell.

Montgomery is about 50 miles northeast of Evansville.
