IMPD searching for missing man

INDIANAPOLIS -

UPDATE:  Brown was found safe early Monday morning and driven back home.


IMPD's Missing Person Unit is asking the public's assistance in locating Mr. Walter Brown.
 
Police say at approximately 7:45 p.m. Sunday night, Brown was seen in the backyard near 27th and North Harding Streets.  Brown suffers from Alzheimer's and Dementia, and takes medicine for high blood pressure. 

He is known to walk fast and has gone missing in the past. 

Brown was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black zippered hooded sweatshirt, with a black and white striped polo shirt underneath the sweatshirt, blue jeans and gray tennis shoes.
 
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mr. Brown is asked to contact Missing Person detectives at 317.327.6160 or 911.
