The Colts signed tight end Dwayne Allen Wednesday.
Allen, a third-round pick from Clemson, caught 93 passes for 1,079 yards and 12 touchdowns in college. He won the John Mackey Award as the nation's top tight end last season.
"It's a great feeling to get this out of the way and behind me," said Allen. "Now I get to focus on football because that's what I love to do. The Colts did a great job as well as SportsTrust who represents me in getting this thing done as quickly as possible so I can get to training camp in time."
The Colts have now signed nine of their 10 draft picks from this year's NFL Draft. Only tight end Coby Fleener, a collegiate teammate of quarterback Andrew Luck at Stanford, remains unsigned by the team.
