West side fire leaves several people homeless

INDIANAPOLIS -

Four people have been treated by medics on the scene of an apartment fire.

Firefighters were called to the city's west side just after 3:30am this morning, to an apartment complex in the 3600 block of Guion Road.

The smoke and flames were so bad, that one woman jumped from the second floor to get to safety. But she was not hurt.

She and three other adults were checked out by medics on the scene, and not taken to the hospital.

Two apartments suffered damage. The people who lived in those homes are getting help from IMPD's Victims Assistance unit.
